Director & Event Modification

  • Enabled the alarm car by the car park outside the souvenirs store.

Developer Note: This will help add more variety to hits instead of only hitting inside and discourage easy run backs on tanks.

Map Items

  • Added a pistol spawn on the counter in the bar.
  • Added a random T1 weapon in the back of the pickup truck at the ramp by the apartments.

  • Added an ammo pile by the stairs in the apartments.

    • 2 cars by the saferoom

  • Blocked survivors from jumping on the truck outside the souvenirs store to jump into the window.

  • Blocked survivors from climbing on the scaffolding inside the apartments.

  • Prevented infected from getting stuck behind a roof above the end saferoom.

Nuisance & Quality of Life Changes

  • Clipped the pavement at the back of the saferoom to stop players from getting stuck.
  • Added missing glass to vehicles.
  • Disabled the radio button in the wedding area to prevent trolling.

Props

  • Added a van at the ramp by the apartments.
  • Added a bus behind the right-side tent near the end saferoom.

Particles and Visual Effects

  • Removed the storm effect from the map, which also prevents a glitch where the storm becomes permanently active.

Clips

  • Removed some infected clips added by the Last Stand update:
    • Clips above the end saferoom.
  • Changed some of Valve's added blockers to survivor only, where they previously blocked infected too.

Triggers

Ladders

  • Adjusted the ladders leading to the apartments so infected don't get stuck or fall off at the top.
  • Added an infected ladder to climb over the truck at the bar exit.
  • Added infected ladders to climb over the wall at the park entrance.
  • Added an infected ladder to climb over the fence on the left end of the street by the end saferoom.

Open Bar Path

  • Opened up a doorway in the bar for infected only.
    • The door is covered with ivy, infected must break the door to get through.

Developer Note: This will shorten the tank's route to the saferoom on run backs, reducing AI potential and making it possible to cut survivors off, and give infected more attacking options here.

Empty Apartment Rooms

  • Removed the clip added by the Last Stand update that blocked the second empty room.
  • Blocked the empty room that requires jumping a gap to get in for survivors.
  • Added various props to the room to assist infected.
