It would be cool to not only be able to input a URL but also to upload an image to imageshack: http://forum.codecall.net/classes-code-snippets/14319-php-imageshack-uploader.html

The advantage is, that you don't have to take care of the storage - open folder and so on.

This would be a great addition to forums, comments and the like.
