[Bug]: invite fails with Exception in ASGI application on local k3s clusters

What did you expect to happen? What happened instead?

When we invite new users to our local k3s clusters they don't get the invitation.
We have the issue since the earliest versions - on both of our local clusters.
Here is attached an error log from our devel/test system.
