Alerts - blackout issue

Hi,
I want to set everyday blackout from 8pm to 4am, but I'm getting error that "TimeTo should be greater than TimeFrom":

Create two blackout periods - one from 8PM and the other to 4:50AM.

Time From and Time To are used like this:

AND (CAST(TZ.CurrentTime AS TIME) >= BP.TimeFrom OR BP.TimeFrom IS NULL)
AND (CAST(TZ.CurrentTime AS TIME) <= BP.TimeTo OR BP.TimeTo IS NULL)

The condition >=8PM and <= 4:50AM would never be satisfied.

I guess it could be changed to make the configuration easier. Something like this might work

AND (CAST(TZ.CurrentTime AS TIME) >= BP.TimeFrom OR BP.TimeFrom IS NULL OR (CAST(TZ.CurrentTime AS TIME) <= BP.TimeTo AND BP.TimeTo<BP.TimeFrom)) 
AND (CAST(TZ.CurrentTime AS TIME) <= BP.TimeTo OR BP.TimeTo IS NULL OR (CAST(TZ.CurrentTime AS TIME) >= BP.TimeFrom AND BP.TimeTo<BP.TimeFrom))

Additionally, DBA Dash does not allow to set TimeFrom as 12:00AM or 00:00AM. It clears the field when putting above.

I think that's a quirk of the PropertyGrid control. If you set it to 00:00 it does change to a blank string, but it will actually be set to 00:00 rather than null. Either way, null or 00:00 will behave exactly the same anyway - TimeFrom will be ignored as all times will be greater than or equal to this.

Having the same problem here. Setting the value to 00:00 (which then is reset to blank) does not allow me to save the config, giving me the same error "TimeTo should be greater than TimeFrom. My current workaround is to create two blackout periods:

1. from HH:MM to 11:59:59 PM
2. from 00:00:01 AM to hh:mm

the seconds are saved even though they displayed only as HH:MM AM/PM.
