Torch hasn't been updated for a long time, and pytorch is still actively updating. Is Torch obsolete?

NO. It is not obsolete.

• It has been updated 3 month ago.
• an unupdated software does not means at all you should not use it. It means there is no upcomming regression. See Qt, virtualbox, microsoft products, etc...

I want to state that:

• torch7 in C is already much more faster than pytorch! Performance is a real feature while training.
• adding useless feature is a regression/bug not a feature. See tensorflow.

If you have any suggestion for PR about incomming documentation / feature / testibg / fuzzing, I am entierely present.

Maybe we might state in the doc that the torch7 is still good to use.
