Unit test error: Error: there is no package called ‘simulation’

One of the unit tests fails. This was run on Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS. HP Z2 Tower G9 Workstation

Steps to reproduce.

1. Clone repository
2. Open R studio project
3. renv::restore()
4. devtools::test()

Output:

This issue is unique - does not occur on my local run on Ubuntu, or on runs on GitHub actions using Windows, Mac and Ubuntu. Not able to include Pop on GitHub action as Pop!_OS is not available as a GitHub-hosted runner option.
