Feature request to optionally enable sharding on collections used by MongoDBSaver and AsyncMongoDBSaver.

This would enable horizontal scaling and better write/query performance for production workloads

Hi @ldrumm4, MongoDBSaver accepts a MongoClient, and you can set the Read Preference, Read Concern, and Write Concern of the client.

Hi @blink1073, thanks for the response — those settings control replica set behavior but aren't related to sharding or shard key configuration. Sharding must be explicitly enabled at the cluster/database level via shardCollection.

Ah, I see, so you're wanting to add a shard_key parameter and automatically run the shardCollection on each of the collections?
