It doesn't seem like the AmazonKnowledgeBasesRetriever takes any parameter for specifying a Bedrock Guardrail (like e.g. ChatBedrockConverse does) - even though users can specify a guardrail when invoking e.g. the underlying RetrieveAndGenerate API

Is this a missing feature? Or am I just missing how to use it...

Thanks for the call-out @athewsey - guardrail_config will be added to AmazonKnowledgeBasesRetriever with #487.
