Shader sometimes doesnt draw

Hi, thanks for your great assets.

I am having issues with shader drawing: sometimes, randomly, it disapears for no apparent reason and after appears again. It keeps drawing in scene window and shadows are also rendering in game window.

Do you know why it happens?

If I create in a new scene or in demo scene it works... Maybe it is some config that I haven't seen.

Thanks for reporting.

I suspect that the Skinner effects in your scene are out of bounds and culled.

The Skinner effects don't work well with frustum culling at the moment. As a workaround I set a very huge bounding box ([1000, 1000, 1000]) to the renderer to avoid being culled.

Although this workaround works when the scene is sufficiently small, it breaks if the scene is larger than the bounding box. I suspect that your scene is large enough to break it.

Could you try to change the size of the bounding box to a larger value like Vector3.one * 10000?

Thanks for your answer, that's the problem.

But, when I change the size (in that line), it doens't affect on bounding box size of final mesh, it seems that it doesnt take the size from this script (or in that order). Although debug skinner it works.

My quick solution was to edit SkinnerParticle.cs, accesing to _template.mesh on each UpdateRenderer and chaging its center's position. In this way it updates the bounding box center (or size) but doens't work changing it directly on SkinnerParticleTemplate.cs.

Thanks for the info! Yes, it might be a better workaround for the problem. I'll think about fixing the problem in a similar way.

Great! that what I was looking for.
Instead of editing skinner files, I updated from ouside
