getting error on freeimage plugin/library load attempt:

dlopen(/Users/me/Library/Application Support/imageio/freeimage/libfreeimage-3.16.0-osx10.6.dylib, 0x0006): tried: '/Users/me/Library/Application Support/imageio/freeimage/libfreeimage-3.16.0-osx10.6.dylib' (mach-o file, but is an incompatible architecture (have 'x86_64', need 'arm64')), '/System/Volumes/Preboot/Cryptexes/OS/Users/me/Library/Application Support/imageio/freeimage/libfreeimage-3.16.0-osx10.6.dylib' (no such file), '/Users/me/Library/Application Support/imageio/freeimage/libfreeimage-3.16.0-osx10.6.dylib' (mach-o file, but is an incompatible architecture (have 'x86_64', need 'arm64'))
