Second, short story, I am working on a project to help blind people (mainly for my sister) a talking clock, and when she claps, play the audio of the time; creating the links for the time is easy using your library, but I have a big problem: it only works with an internet connection ...

How could I "capture" the audio (* .mp3) embedded in the TTS link, and save it to an SD card to be able to reproduce the time when you do not have a WiFi connection?

I read your post and would like to help with some ideas.

How old is your sister? Does she speak normally?

What types of requests would your sister make to the system?

There is no wifi connection to the internet where she is ?

I ask all this, because there are alternatives not so expensive to be implemented which are Google Home Mini or Google Nest Mini and Amazon's Echo Dot with the Alexa assistant.

But these alternatives require WIFI and Internet.

If you would like to talk to me about these and other alternatives I would be happy to help you, as I have a good knowledge of Home Automation and Arduino etc..

My intention is to create a device (the size of a wristwatch) that you can take everywhere, and that by pressing a button (wristwatch version) or slapping (wall clock / alarm clock version), says the date and The time.

This project, as I said, is not only to help her, but also to other people, since I personally know people who speak other languages, and it would be of great help, to be able to "generate" the audios automatically, save them in a SD, and use them without WIFI, You know, connect to a Wi-Fi network, generate the links, get MP3 audios, save them in SD and play them off-line later.

I am a technology geek, and I would like to create something (with my own hands) to give her a gift, a way to know the time without having to constantly ask people when she is not at home.

I understand your purpose, which is to have the pleasure of presenting your sister with something you made yourself. I find this very commendable.

As you may know there are wristwatches ready with this function but I understand your goal.

Without using the internet it would be a little more difficult but not impossible, but I don't know what the hardware would be like, because I imagine it has to be a small device that stores all the audios of all hours of the day minute by minute and when if they press a button the device will tell you the right time.

If it wasn't for the size of the device that has to be small, this could be done in many ways without having to use wifi or internet, using the module ISD1820, dfplayer etc... but it has to be small and have a good battery.

Just a question, where are you from?

I´m from Spain (sorry for my bad english), I plan to use the MAX98357 I2S Audio Amplifier Module to read * .mp3 files from an SD card and play them on a small speaker, this works fine in my first few tests, but the download part is a headache.

After many headaches and days of researching, I have succeeded !!, using this magnificent library, you can create the direct link to the translation audio, and with this program (very ugly and poorly programmed), download the embedded audio file in *.mp3 format to an SD card.
