Use Cases

Typing in a chat app like Signal or WhatsApp, the keyboard gives suggested responses like "Good one 👍" or something I'd never used. I assume these are coming from the keyboard not the app, but they display on the keyboard and cover the spelling correction suggestions, which are actually useful.

Proposal

Toggle switch I settings to turn this off (If it exists I can't find it anywhere)

Inline autofill toggle should disable it, but it's handled via the same system as password managers, so you won't get password manager autofill either

Is it possible to separate these two functions? (Canned response and password autofill?) Or is this an Android limitation? Password is useful but canned response prevents spelling suggestions.

Does I only impact Android/Google passwords? I use a third party password manager (Bitwarden/Vaultwarden)

The other issue is if you accidentally hit the response suggestion it replaces what you have typed so far and you lose your work.

Is it at least to update the settings description for Inline Autofill to make it clearer for people wanting to disable this?
