Update of Windows Images for CVE-2021-34527
Windows-based .NET images have been rebuilt and published to address a remote code execution exploit in the Windows Print Spooler service known as “PrintNightmare”, as documented in CVE-2021-34527. No .NET binaries have been changed with this update. This is just updating the .NET images to be based on the newly updated Windows images which addresses the vulnerability.
Again, Windows-based images* (Nano Server and Windows Server Core) for .NET have been updated across all supported versions of .NET/.NET Core. This is the same set of image tags that would be updated on a typical Patch Tuesday servicing release.
