Describe the feature you'd like
I don't know whether this is possible or within the scope of this extension, but it would be quite nice to have the ability to create a layout across multiple monitors and then assign windows to it. The use-case I have has me using an app that does not support multiple windows itself but does support in-window splits, thus I want to have it span two monitors to have the width.

Hey thank you for sharing this idea. This could involve a lot of work because Tiling Shell doesn't support spanning across monitors. If this issue gains interest by many I will prioritize it!

Expressing interest in this. I use a 49" Samsung Odyssey extra wide, which because of how I have to dock it, the OS sees it as two monitors. I dual boot and on Windows I am using Fancy Zones Powertoy to define the center space (1/2 of each "monitor") as one zone, and then two vertical zones on each side. I was excited to find Tiling Shell hoping it could achieve the same thing. Understandable that it doesn't currently and that it may require a lot of work. Even so, thanks for making this great extension.
