Admin menu UX improvements: persist open/fold state of sections

Currently the admin sidebar menu opens all sections on each page load. It should remember which sections you have closed and which you have left open, and restore that state on each page load.

(I did have some JavaScript code in earlier versions which tried to do this, but it turned out to be so horrifically buggy that I eventually removed it. JavaScript is not my strong point.) 😄

Hello, had an error trying to create an admin account (rails shiny:admin:create): Unrecognized command "shiny:admin:create" (Rails::Command::UnrecognizedCommandError). Do you know how i could resolve this problem please?

Used "rails shinycms:admin:create" in order to create admin account 😎

I am planning to associate with a specific id each anchor tag then i use a click event to register in local storage the id clicked in order to display it open. Pretty simple i think. What are your thoughts? (Discovered the menu_component.rb file responsible for creating the sidebar menu i believe)

Hello, do you use any javascript library or framework in this project? (Just to know the tools available)

There was a bit of a random mixture of stuff I'd copy-pasted from other places, but I tried to change a while ago from bundling JavaScript stuff inside the project to keeping it external and loading it on demand - for things like JQuery, JQueryUI, etc - because for a while I seemed to be spending more time fixing JavaScript issues in supporting code than Ruby issues in my own code. 🙂 You can see some stuff being loaded in the default theme here: https://github.com/denny/ShinyCMS-ruby/tree/main/themes/javascript/halcyonic

Hello hello, thanks man for providing information, i will investigate in order to see how the menu was implemented and use the solution built in the library or javascript code. My javascript is pretty begginer level but i hope i can be a better developer with these issues and your input of course. Thank you for the opportunity.

In the instalation documentation, there is a section with command that don't work i think (If you want to load the demo data:
rails shiny:demo:load

If you didn't load the demo data, create an admin account:
rails shiny:admin:create)

In order to work you need to add the cms word, for example: rails shinycms:demo:load

Maybe i will tackle this issue later, and focus on other issue if it's possible.
