screensaver stops responding and goes black when woken up

Someone please help I love this but cant use it with this issue as it hangs for about 20 seconds after waking computer back up and then says application stopped responding

As far as I can tell this repository is no longer being maintained. You can try OrangeJedi/Aerial which is a similar program build on a different framework.
