WebDAV a Music Library for Playback via PowerAmp #1337

Hello, It's exicting to see how WebDAV over DAVx5 can be used! There's surely much room for WebDAV caching and buffering improvements. Would be very cool to make these improvements, but currently we have other big projects (like WebDAV-Push), so I don't know when we will find time for it. |

Didn't play too much around with it (or maybe got your setup wrong) but I have installed the Nextcloud Music app. It has a Ampache (and Subsonic) streaming API. After setting up the NC app in the browser I connected Power Ampache 2 (on my phone) using the link that you can copy from the NC Music app webinterface. For me it works flawlessly so far... |

Hey, first off, love your app. Am using it for CalDAV, and have tried to use it for WebDAV.
Mainly, because my new phone no longer seems to support MicroSD cards, i am stuck with a large Music library on my NAS which i can only carry a fraction of on my on-device storage :x
I'm an avid user of the PowerAmp Android music player, and succeeded in using DAVx5 to have my NAS Music library show up on the phone using WebDAV.
After adding this WebDAV library to my PowerAmp player, all seemed fine. Except buffering ..
I am guessing this is more their turf than yours ? But i might ask anyway.
In LAN or WAN, doesn't matter, i get a lot of skipping in the music playback due to buffering issues.
Is there anything that can be done on your end to resolve this ?
I have asked to same on the PowerAmp side, but so far it seems to be on the wishlist for a long time with not a lot of votes for implementing this.
(Yes there are alternatives to PowerAmp, which natively support Web playback properly, but i am still to come across one that can hold a candle up to PowerAmp)
TLDR: is it somehow possible to implement a buffer through DAVx5 WebDAV ?
If not, just close this..
