It's impossible to exit the terminal emulator!

exit command doesn't work. You can only close it by closing the tab itself!

Intended behavior. You can exit with ctrl+w. exit will close the current shell terminal and open a new one.

If there is a command running (e.g: wget) and I mistakenly issued ctrl+w, does it close the terminal tab anyway?

BTW, on a real terminal emulator like xfce4-terminal I'm using, it will warn you if you close the tab when there is still a command running. I think this is what a multi-tab terminal emulator should do.
