Constrained Type Parameters not Inherited Between Abstract Types

Why is this allowed?

abstract type A{N<:Real} end
abstract type B{N<:Symbol} <: A{N} end # no error thrown

It can lead to situations with incompatible type constraints:

struct C{N} <: B{N}
    v::N
end

struct D{N<:Real} <: B{N}
   v::N
end

C(1)       # TypeError: in B, in N, expected N<:Symbol, got Type{Int64}
C(:sym)    # TypeError: in A, in N, expected N<:Real, got Type{Symbol}
D(1)       # TypeError: in B, in N, expected N<:Symbol, got Type{Int64}
D(:sym)    # MethodError: no method matching DDD(::Symbol)

Is this something that should be changed in the language, or is there something I'm missing?
