A very distant idea: A cross-platform + mobile minimal text editor implementing the lsp, made for prose, with default support for markdown-oxide

I want markdown oxide to become a terrific PKM, one that is preferable to Logseq or Obsidian for PKMers -- even if the PKMers are not involved in programming and do not have text editing preferences. I also want to use markdown oxide on mobile!! This idea would solve both of these problems. Here is an overview of what I am thinking if it were to be implemented in the distant future.

• Cross-platform and mobile-friendly
• Implements the LSP to support a fully featured PKM experience through the rich LSP ecosystem. Along with default support for markdown oxide, it could include other prose-oriented language servers -- Grammarly language server, for example.
• It would not be as customizable as Neovim but would at least have a vim mode.
• The UI would be exceptionally clean and minimal; it is a text editor only for prose, not programming. This focus and simplicity would be preferable for a non-developer PKMer who does not have VSCode or neovim.

Of course, this editor would be completely free and open source.

Would this be achievable? I could be if we do not start from scratch; The Zed text editor is open source and provides a TERRIFIC editing experience. It also already supports the LSP, has a beautiful UI, and has a great vim mode. Markdown-oxide already works quite well on Zed; Zed could be...

• forked
• stripped of programming features
• modified to include markdown oxide + other prose LSPs by default
• but BUT mobile support would have to be added. I don't see any reason why Zed would do this, so this would be up to me. This may be completely impossible, unfortunately.

Another blocker could be that incompatibility with Zed's open-source license.

What do you all think?
