How to open website from Shortcut?

在 watchOS 中，不能直接通过快捷指令打开 URL。快捷指令的“打开 URL”操作仅支持两种情况：

• 打开系统 URL；
• 打开已配置“通用链接”的 App，前提是此 App 已被安装到设备中。

除此之外，尝试打开 URL 时均会提示无法载入 URL。

我不太明白你的用意，不过值得一提的是，暗礁浏览器支持通过“通用链接”唤起，这意味着你可以通过快捷指令在暗礁浏览器中打开任何 URL——前提是用户已安装本 App。

如果你希望通过快捷指令使 watchOS 原生直接载入 URL，目前可能没有解决方案。

watchOS 11+, you just need to add Open URL action directly in your Shortcuts without depending on Darock Browse

No-no, embedded WebView is definitely not a good approach, it has that weird notch on top - exactly why I was looking for something like Darock Browser.
Additionally embedded WebView is simply not working - it stops working for me after some time - shows black web pages.

So I guess this means that I simply cannot open URL from Shortcuts in Darock Browser on watchOS 11+, right?

Actually I think there’s a workaround. The reason why Shortcuts opens my webpage instead of Darock Browser is probably because here’s a policy for Universal Links: It opens the corresponding app from a link only when you’re trying to “click” the link. For example, when you click the link in Messages app, it opens Darock Browser.

So, I can add a webpage for https://darock.top/darockbrowser/open/[Link] which shows an “Open in Darock Browser” button. If a user using watchOS 11+, it will see the webpage and then can open the page in Darock Browser just by clicking the button. Besides, I can’t find a better way that allows your Shortcuts to open a webpage in Darock Browser without clicking the button for users using watchOS 11+.

That's a good workaround. The only problem is that embedded WebView is not reliable - as I mentioned before - it often shows webpages completely dark - meaning the link to open smth in Darock Browser may not even appear for the user.

Anyway, thank you for your suggestions.

At least it's very cool that your browser supports Double Click -> Open URL.
This is going to allow me to push the needed URL from Shortcut to intermidiary server.
The intermidiary server would also expose endpoint that does redirect to whatever page was pushed before.
Then I'll configure this "redirect" endpoint as Double Click action.
So when I need to open page in Darock Browser my Shortcut action will look like:

• push https://google.com to intermidiary server;
• open Darock Browser;
• user should double click here
• Darock Browser opens the URL through redirect
• success :)

The actual workflow should like this:

1. Open URL https://darock.top/darockbrowser/open/https://google.com.
2. The embedded WebView opens the webpage on Darock Server, which provides a button labeled “Open in Darock Browser”.
3. User click the button then Darock Browser will be opened and opens https://google.com automatically.

Note that the workflow isn’t work currently because I haven’t set this webpage up. I’ll make it work this weekend.

I see - this is good idea. But again, I don't think it's woth spending time on because embeded WebView is very unstable - it can be working for some time and then stop working at all.
