IOS Build Statusbar Issue?

Hello,

So I'm not quite sure if this is a bug or if I'm missing something. But I've finally got around to exporting my game on IOS as I've always been playing on Android with no issues. However, on IOS, the statusbar that shows on top of the screen that shows your carrier, time and battery, is still there when I open the game, but none of the status things are actually there, so it's just a small black bar at the top of my game (I'm on an iPhone 8 Plus running IOS 11.4.1). Having this blank statusbar on top of the game doesn't make it look great and it's causing gameplay issues with how my game works, usually in these games the statusbar isn't there at all and the game extends to that space to make the game fullscreen. This is with the regular Cordova/Phonegap IOS build.

Ah, I've figured it out. I had to learn how Cordova plugins worked and I've installed a plugin that removes the status bar, worked perfectly. Starting to realize if I have issues with Cordova, it'll be fixed with a plugin.

I think there is a way to add some configuration in the config.xml to get this, without plugins. Maybe we could built this directly in the Config.xml exported by GD.

@4ian That would be great, the statusbar was pretty easy though if you understand what you're doing but it's a bit of a task. The harder part is figuring out the splashscreen, the plugin for that isn't as simple, whenever I mess around with it the build fails but I'll keep trying.
